001 Strategic monitoring and evaluation

Every strategy needs to be periodically monitored, to ensure its validity and correct implementation. This can be done on a quarterly, biannual, or annual basis, and usually involves the CEO and her executive management.

Rotem Strategy has developed a proprietary methodology designed to evaluate unit workplans according to the strategic goals and priorities behind them. With one glance, the CEO can assess how well the organization's strategy is being implemented, and whether the goals will be reached on schedule.

The review process also looks into the major assumptions about the environment that are behind the company's strategy, in order to make sure that no significant changes have occurred that require a change of strategy.
